Apply now: one of five $1,500 bursaries available for study at Algonquin college
“I have known since I was 8 years old that I wanted to help people who struggle with mental health illness. Receiving this bursary means the world to me, allowing me to get the financial means to complete the Child and Youth Care Worker Program, graduate successfully, help prevent suicides and mental health challenges, and make a difference in the countless lives of youth.” - Past Sal Iacono Family bursary recipient
The 2024 application process for the Sal Iacono Family Bursary is now open!
“I want more than anything to take my education, which I was able to get with help from this bursary, and tum it into a lifestyle of caring for my fellow human beings, for people with challenged days, for people who just need something more than the norm.” -Past Sal Iacono Family bursary recipient
From March 1 to April 19, students can apply for the one-time $1,500 bursary allocation for use at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada.
